Tyler Consolidated has a gem of a basketball player in four-year player Josey Jones. Jones is a dedicated athlete who also played four years of high school volleyball for the Knights and has been selected All-State in both sports.

On Thursday night, at home against Williamstown, Jones hit a layup to put her over the 1000-point mark in her career at TCHS. She is averaging 18.8 per game on the season and is also a leader in steals, assists and rebounds. She was awarded the game ball on Thursday, and the game was stopped to honor and congratulate her on her accomplishment.
