Tyler Consolidated Wrestling Returns Experience
Tyler Consolidated will open its 2015-16 wrestling season tonight with a quad match at River High School.
Several wrestlers are back from last year, including Chase Cooper who will be pursuing his 100th win. Chase was also a state qualifier last season.
“I am excited to be coaching these wrestlers. They are a hard working group who I expect will earn many wins this year,” said Coach Chad Snyder. Almost all the weight classes have been filled, according to Snyder. He said several different meets will be held this month a dual on Friday and Saturday in Ritchie County.
“We hope to attract some fans, and I expect some victories this year,” he added.
Freshmen competing will be Cody Hunter 120, Riley Leasure 126, Trey Keys 138 and Billy Anderson 220.
Sophomores are Crandell Senkbell 126, Colton Mead 132, Mike Doyle 152 and Cory Chipps 285.
Juniors Alex Henthorn 120, Elisha McDonald 171, Tyler Anderson 182, Brandon Keys 195 and River DiBell 285.
Seniors Zach Bonner 126, Chase Cooper 145, William Chapman 160 and Nathan Eddy 220.
