TCHS Lady Knight volleyball players Ariel Fish and Macy Long have

been selected as co-players of the week for Tyler Consolidated sports.

Fish, a 5 ft. 6 senior, has been outstanding all year for Coach

Richard Summers’ squad. This past week she had extremely good matches

and produced several game deciding plays. For the week she recorded

Ariel Fish

65 kills, 70 points, 60 digs and 22 blocks. Ariel was chosen as one

of our pre-season spotlight players this year and for obviously good

reason.

Macy Long, a 5 ft. 4 junior, has been putting up some big numbers

of her own. As a setter, she has been outstanding with 179 good

assists this past week alone. She has also played outstanding defense

and plays an all around good floor game. He is an unselfish player

who tries to get everyone involved.

Earning honorable mentioned this week is Luke Daughtery, goalie

for the boys’ soccer team. Luke has 17 saves this past week and plays

with intensity around the goal. Only a sophomore, Daughtery looks to

have a bright future.
