The Tyler Consolidated Lady Silver Knights saw the end come to the 2014-15 season on Monday night in St. Marys as the team faced off with the Valley Lumber Jills in the first round of Sectional play.

A sluggish, low scoring first half nipped Knight hopes in the beginning, forcing them to take risks and play catch-up in the second half. Though the Silver gave a good effort, it was not enough to get the win in the end, sending the Lumber Jills on to the next round, 58-50.

Sydney Yoho scored six points in the effort for the Lady Knights. Vanessa Templeton added seven points; Aleah Black, six points; Ariel Fish, 15 points; Amanda Reynolds, 11; Brenna Yeater, two points and Katelyn Gogan chipped in three.

The Lady Knights finish the season with four wins.

A young team with a first year head coach in Cathy Boggs and assistant coach, Benny Thomas, the Lady Knights will lose two seniors to graduation, Yoho and Yeater, leaving a nice group with good fundamental skills to take over next year.
