7th annual Courtney Evans golf scramble is held at Sistersville CC

The Courtney Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund held the seventh annual golf scramble on Aug. 2 at the Sistersville Country Club. The golf scramble is held to help sponsor the Courtney Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund, which gives a scholarship to one Tyler Consolidated High School Senior Athlete each year.

This year’s golf scramble was a huge success due to all of the wonderful participants, volunteers and kind sponsors. A special thanks goes to all the family members and dear friends who volunteered to make this year’s tournament fun and successful.

The winner of this year’s scholarship was Hillary Casteel. Hillary is the daughter of Marc Casteel and April Holden. She is attending West Virginia University pursuing a degree in Elementary Education and specializing in Special Education. Congratulations Hillary!

The winning team at this year’s golf scramble was: Rick Leach, Josh Mace, Kent Yoho and Chris Poe. Thanks for participating and congratulations to each of you.
