Paden City’s Lady Wildcat varsity softball team hosted two games at home last week, taking the loss in both games.

On April 16 the ‘Cats played host to the Lady Pilots of River, and lost the win, 12-0.

Taylor Cosper pitched one inning for the Green, walking three. Amber Neff came on for the last two, striking out one.

On the same night at home, Paden City took on Cameron, falling to the Dragons, 5-1.

Neff pitched two strike outs and two walks and Cosper came on to throw five strike outs and two walks.

Hitters for Paden City included: Tori Anderson, Maddie Cox, Neff, Abby Still and Kayla Hizer each singled and Megan Pierce drove in one run.

The Lady ‘Cats are scheduled to play at Tyler Consolidated on April 23 at 5:30 p.m.
