Silver Knight wrestlers gain experience at River dual

Traveling across the Ohio, the Tyler Consolidated Silver Knight wrestling team competed against the River Pilots in a dual last week, coming out with the loss to the Red and Gray, 57-15.

Though they came out on the short end of the overall team score, several young Knights earned valuable mat experience with the outing at River.

The Knight wrestlers took part in the Ritchie County Tournament on Dec. 21 and are scheduled to see action again on Jan. 2 at Beallsville and then on Jan. 4 at the Cameron Tournament. (Ritchie County stats will appear in a later edition of the Tyler Star News.)

The next home match will be held on Jan. 8 when the Knights will host Cameron and St. Marys.
