Knights and ‘Cats face tough opponents
The holiday season will give local boys basketball teams a slight break, but it’s back to the hardwoods to take on the meat of their schedules after that.
Wildcats
The Wildcats of Paden City took on the Yellow Jackets of Williamstown on Dec. 17 in a home game, with the Green and White coming up just short of the win, 65-51.
The two teams played to a 27-26 half-time score, when the Jackets took advantage of a lull in the game to go ahead by about 10 in the third in the win.
