Tyler Consolidated Middle School’s boys and girls track teams finished up their season last week competing at the Ritchie County Invitational.

The meet hosted 10 girls teams and 11 boys teams on April 27 at Ritchie County.

The Doddridge Middle School girls’ team took first place in the ladies division with 187 points. Taylor County placed second with 100 points, followed by Tyler Consolidated with 90; Buckhannon Upshur, 61; RLBMS Lady Patriots, 39; Ritchie County, 33; Gilmer County, 20; Short Line, 13; South Harrison, 10 and BMS, five points.

Taylor County took the top spot in the boys’ overall team competition with 97 points. BMS placed second with 78 points; Gilmer scored 71; Tyler Consolidated had 78; Doddridge, 59; South Harrison, 50; Robert L. Bland, 35; Short line, 27; Braxton, 26; Buckhannon Upshur, 25 and Ritchie County, 22.
