Paden City takes 3rd at OVAC

Paden City cheerleaders placed third in the their division at the OVAC competition
Competition was tough at the OVAC Cheerleading Championships at the WesBanco Arena on Saturday with 29 squads competing for five division titles, including the Paden City High School cheerleaders in the Class A division.
The Wildcat cheerleaders performed very well against teams representing Beallsville, Bishop Donahue, Madonna, St. John and Valley, placing third overall when the competition came to an end. Bishop Donahue took first place in the single A class Weirton Madonna placed second.
Paden City’s cheerleaders are coached by Rachel Stoneking and Kim Hizer.
Members competing at the 2013 OVAC championships are: Lynnsie Parsons, Samantha Lyons, Tori Anderson, Kayla Hizer, Madison Pierce, Hannah Stanley, Cydney Blatt, Akayla Kline, and Desiree Heasley.
