By Staff | Feb 6, 2013

The West Virginia High School girls’ basketball teams are in their last week of regular season play before the post season begins next week. Both local teams, the Paden City Lady Wildcats and Lady Knights of Tyler Consolidated, each added losses on the road to their records last week.

Paden City traveled to Cameron on Jan. 30, only to be handed defeat by the Lady Dragons of Cameron, 54-35. Tyler Consolidated played at St. Marys on Jan. 31, falling to the Lady Devils 71-49. The Knights are scheduled to see action again on Thursday night at home in the LKC placement tournament, while Paden City will compete in the finals of the Hometown Invitational Tournament at St. Marys at 6 p.m. on Feb. 13 for the championship.
