The Tyler Rod and Gun Club, along with the Law Enforcement Section of the WV Division of Natural Resources, will team up once again to host the 12th annual Kids Fishing Day. This event will be held on May 5 at Conway Lake. The theme of the day will be “Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs.”

This will be a special day for youngsters ages 1-15 to become more aware of the enjoyment of fishing and the natural resources in Tyler County.

Issues discussed at the event will include how drugs can, and will, affect every aspect of their lives. During the event, donated prizes will be awarded and food will be available.

The goal is to make this fishing event enjoyable and exciting to the participants.
