Season opener is rescheduled

By Staff | Mar 28, 2012

Join all the action on March 31 for the rescheduled Middlebourne Main Street Stock Car Show scheduled from 1-4 p.m. where fans can get an up-close look at the stars and cars that entertain weekly at the Tyler County Speedway. Then everyone is invited to head on up the highway to the ‘Bullring’ for the kickoff of the biggest season in Tyler County Speedway history.

The 38th annual Season Opener at the track will await eager fans, as every 38th fan through the gate will receive a free prize, courtesy of Circle Track Management Group. A full night of thrilling door to door action in the Wagon Wheel Super Late Models, United Rentals EDGE Crate Late Models, Two Brothers Motorsports TSMA Modifieds, Bridgeport Equipment and Tool HotMods, Herrington-Yoak Pre Owned ModLites, and the children’s Mini Wedges will square off in the first points battle of the season.

Be sure to get to the Bullring early and take advantage of the fan friendly early bird promotion by arriving at the speedway between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. to receive $2 off the general admission ticket price.

General admission is priced at $12 while pit admission is $26.

As an added bonus to the highly anticipated season opener, someone lucky could be the first winner of the historic Bullring Bonanza. At intermission, trackside announcers Steve Davis and Jeff Yost will draw the first $1,000 early bird winner on the frontstretch for those early bird Bonanza ticket buyers.

Celebrating the 38th year of continuous operation and billed as the nations raciest bullring, Tyler County Speedway is a lightning quick high banked one fourth mile oval that produces three and four wide racing action and is located three miles south of Middlebourne, on State Route 18 at the scenic Tyler County fairgrounds.
