PCHS hosts softball game
To raise funds for Relay for Life, the varsity baseball and softball teams at Paden City High School will play against each other in a fast pitch softball game. The game will be held on May 20 from noon to 2:45 p.m. at the baseball field.
Students and players must pay $3 to attend this game, and will walk to the game and back supervised by teachers. A concession stand with drinks and baked goods will be operated.
All students may also participate in a throwing contest and a hitting contest, which will be $1 to participate.
Winners will be named in the following categories: Middle School girls; Middle School boys; High School girls; and High School boys.
The two hour early dismissal schedule will be followed, and students who choose not to go will remain at school under supervision. The games and contests will be supervised by Fred King, Rick Bertozzi and Brent Croasmun.
Donations of baked goods and someone to oversee the concession stand are needed.
In case of rain, all activities will take place in the gym.
