By Staff | Oct 27, 2010

The Paden City Wildcats 2010 high school football season is not going as well as expected as the ‘Cats fell to the Blue Devils at Beallsville on Friday, 43-0 .

“It’s been a tough year,” said Wildcat head coach Brent Croasmun. “We really should have done a better job against this team, we just didn’t do it. It was ugly, just plain ugly.”

Offensively the ‘Cats did not have an opportunity to do much, only gaining one first down in the game. John Bates gained 10 rushing yards on two carries and Geoffrey Bidwell rushed for one yard.

Taylor Still caught two passes for 12 yards and Drew Bidwell caught one pass for eight yards.

Still went out in the first quarter with an injury, thus hindering Paden City’s offensive effort even further.

Defensively, Jamie Billiter had 12 tackles; Jared Stewart was credited with eight tackles, one for a loss; Peyton Hinkley had seven tackles; Kyle McFadden, six tackles, two for a loss; and Kyle Hardbarger, six tackles, and one quarterback sack.
