Knights take Middlebourne tournament
The MYL hosted a 7/8 yr old Baseball Tournament Tuesday, July 6 – Saturday, July 10 at Middlebourne City Park.
The tournament planners would like to thank everyone for all their hard work to make this tournament a huge success.
Teams participating in the tournament were Middlebourne Knights, Sistersville, Paden City, and New Martinsville. A Long Ball Competition was held on Saturday – hitting the ball the furthest was Gage Huffman of Middlebourne Knights and coming in 2nd was Ethan Cross of Paden City. These boys received a T-shirt for their achievement. T-shirts were purchased from Outlaw Graphics in Middlebourne.
The Knights were the 1st place Champions with a win over Paden City in a great game. Paden City came in 2nd place, New Martinsville 3rd place, and Sistersville 4th place.
Congratulations to all the teams and players participating in the tournament.These kids have a lot of talent and should be proud.
