Tyler Consolidated Musicians Shine at Regional Honor Band
Tyler Consolidated High School was proudly represented on Saturday, January 17, as students participated in the Regional I Honor Band, hosted by Wheeling Park High School. The selected musicians spent the day in focused rehearsal under the direction of guest conductor Scott Tobias, Director of Bands at West Virginia University. The experience culminated in an outstanding concert performance that showcased the students’ talent, discipline, and commitment to musical excellence.
Representing Tyler Consolidated were: flutists Olivia Roberts and Kaylee Cottrell; clarinetists Mya Fetty, Zoe Davis, and Jennifer Haught; bass clarinetist Morgan Fisher; alto saxophonists Emma Cooper and Abby Jacenkiw; tenor saxophonists Kailee Campbell and Levi Lydick; baritone saxophonist Stevie Torman; trumpeters Caleb Gist, Jacob Keller, Holden Amos, Emily Gist, and Amber Cox; euphonium player Riddock Shinn; trombonists Emily Fetty, Chase Camerlin, and Michael Cooper; and tubists Wyatt Hayes and Sam Thorn.
Participation in the Regional Honor Band is a significant achievement, as students are selected through a competitive process that recognizes musical skill and dedication. Tyler Consolidated High School is proud of these students for representing their school and community with excellence and professionalism.
