The Silver Knights were in baseball action on Saturday, April 5, when they played host to their rival Magnolia Blue Eagles and came away with a 10-0 five inning mercy rule win.

The Knights were never threatened as they jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first two innings and added seven more runs in the fourth to pull away. The Knights would add the final run in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.

Leading the way for the Knights was Reese Davis going two for four with three RBI’s. Brayden Neff would add a single and two RBI’s and Sawyer Kunkel also singled with two RBI’s. Gabe Jackson, Colby Nichols and Isaac Jackson each had a single. Brennon Miller went the distance for the Knights picking up the win.

The Knights record now stands at 4-3 with a road contest coming on April 8 at Doddridge.
