Silver Knights Lose at Williamstown

The Silver Knights traveled to Williamstown to take on the Yellow Jackets in baseball action on Thursday, March 27 and came home on the short end of a 12-2 defeat.
Williamstown got on the board first, scoring one run in the first, one run in the second and three in the third to take a 4-0 lead heading into the fourth inning. The Knights would cross home plate twice in the fourth closing the gap to 4-2. However, the Jackets would add six runs in the bottom of the fourth to expand their lead to 11-2 before adding one more in the sixth to close out the victory.
The Silver Knights would only manage three hits off Williamstown pitcher Ty Ott. Reese Davis, Landon Boggs and Brennon Miller would each have one hit apiece. Miller would take the loss on the mound for the Knights. The Knights will now travel to Valley on Saturday, March 29 to face off with the Lumberjacks.
