Magnolia Volleyball seniors: Christy and Todd McDiffitt with Mallory McDiffitt, Ashton and Eric McKeever, Sienna McKeever, Nancy and Matt Quinet, Jimmy and Christy Dudley with Kaylee Williams;

The Lady Eagles celebrated senior night on Tuesday evening October 22,2024 as they welcomed the St. Marys Blue Devils to the high school gym. Senior Blue Eagles, Mallory McDiffitt, Sienna McKeever and Kaylee Williams were honored prior to the start of the match.

Magnolia wasted no time in establishing dominance over the match and took down the Blue Devils in straight sets 25-10, 25-11, and 25-14. It was the last regular season match for the Eagles who finished the regular season with a (15-13) record.

Coach Pam Chapman’s squad was dominant on defense and numerous kills led by Karli Warder, Sienna McKeever, and Jessa Anderson to down the Lady Devils.

The Blue Eagles were led by Jessa Anderson with 5 service points, 7 kills and 12 digs, Karli Warder added 12 kills, one block and two digs, plus one assist. Sienna McKeever had a match high 13 service points, 12 huge kills and hit the floor for 16 digs. Aly Stillwagoner had 4 service points and 9 digs. Mallory McDiffitt had a good match with 10 service points, including 2 aces, 4 kills, 2 digs, and a block. Sidney Knight offered 11 service points including an ace, plus one dig, 34 assists, and two blocks at the net. Kaylee Williams added 11 service points including 5 hard hit aces, 2 kills, eight assists and one block. Karli Warder was big at the net with 12 kills and a block, plus she added 2 digs and an assist.

Magnolia will host the Sectionals on Tuesday evening October 29th and play the winner of Valley vs Paden City match.
