The Silver Knights scored early and often in a 57-13 rout of winless Ravenswood on Friday October 18 in Ravenswood. The Knights built a 43-0 lead by halftime and never looked back for win number five on the season.

After setting the single game rushing record a week ago, Branson Winfrey again topped the 100 yard rushing mark going for 116 yards on 12 carries and three touchdowns. Branson now has 991 yards and 14 touchdowns through seven games and will look to cross the 1000 yard mark next week on the road against South Harrison. Gideon Winfrey rushed for 55 yards on eight carries and Cayden Hall ran for a career high 91 yards on just three carries and one touchdown with his touchdown coming on a 66 yard bolt late in the third quarter. Brady Strode threw for 99 yards completing two of his passes to Reese Davis for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Nate Deaton would add four PAT kicks while Noah Hood was on the receiving end of a pair of two point conversions. The Silver Knight offense was again impressive, piling up 358 yards of total offense while a stingy defense held the Red Devils to just 153 yards.

On defense the Knights were led by Brody Giovinazzo with three solo tackles and two assists. Teammate Garrett Bordenkircher added two solos, one assist and two tackles for a loss. Also with two solo tackles was Trysten Magruder.

The Silver Knights did suffer a season ending injury to offensive and defensive lineman Trent Webster who left the game with a broken leg. The Knights will now get ready for a must win to keep their playoff hopes alive next week when they travel to battle South Harrison. The win pushes the Knight record to 5-2.
