Tyler Consolidated hosted their annual Stormin’ the Castle Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday, September 10. Named as the performer of the meet was Magnolia junior Parker Werkau who finished sixth overall with a time of 18:11.9. Taking part in the event were runners from Tyler Consolidated, Magnolia, Ritchie County, Wood County Christian, and Paden City.

In the boys event Tyler Consolidated came away with the victory as they had a score of 38. Ritchie County was second with 42, and Magnolia third with 44.

Finishing as the top runner was the Silver Knights junior sensation Amos Kimble who crossed the finish line with a time of 16:03.6. Coming in second was Magnolia senior Landen Davis with a time of 16:50.9. Dylan Malolepszy of Ritchie County was third in a time of 16:53.6. Fourth place belonged to Tyler Consolidated sophomore Travis Moore with a 17:20.4. Riley Dennis, a Magnolia junior, was fifth in a time of 17:50.7 followed by Werkau.
