After a cold and rainy start the sun came out and it turned out to be a beautiful day at Sistersville Country Club on Saturday, June 11 for the 2nd Annual Virgil “Sug” Stewart Scholarship Memorial golf tournament. The tournament was sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2281 Paden City, West Virginia. First place was won by the team of Jordan Ash, Randy Rutherford, Vance Ash and Jeremy Anderson. Skill prizes and a 50/50 drawing were also held for the participants. A total of 40 golfers enjoyed the day and a big thanks goes out for the hole sponsors for their support. The golf outing raised over $2000 for the scholarship.
