TCHS Football Game Tonight

MIDDLEBOURNE – Tyler Star News sports writer Ed Parsons will be in the TCHS press box tonight covering the football game that starts at 7 p.m. between the Silver Knights (1-1) and the Webster County Highlanders (2-0).

In other the sports action, the Blue Eagles and the Knights place two in the top 10 during Tuesday’s Stormin’ the Castle cross country meet hosted by TCHS.

On the boys’ side of the ledger, TCHS front runners Gavin Corley and Josh Frum finished in the top twenty. Jahnvi Duncan and Katie Pratt led the pack for the Silver Knights.

Jordan Delaney and Bre Barbera of Magnolia placed in the top ten.

Mason Dowell followed by Ethan Coulter led the Magnolia men.

Wildcats’ Paxton Pierce and Arissa Kline left no doubt that they had done their best for Paden City High School.

Thursday at Magnolia High School, the TCHS Girls won their first soccer game of year 2-0 over the Blue Eagles while Tyler’s boys won 1-0 on goal by Nate Lantz midway through first period.

TCHS volleyball won 2 of 3 matches against Parkerburg Catholic on Tuesday in Parkersburg.

The Wildcats took home victories in 3 of 4 matches against the Bulldogs Tuesday in Bridgeport.
