‘Cats beat up on Dragons, 19-0

The Paden City Wildcats celebrated Homecoming in a big way on Friday night by taking the 19-0 win over the Cameron Dragons at Berger Field. Joni Myers was crowned the 2010 Homecoming Queen and the entire Paden City community celebrated their successful WesTest scores.
Playing to an 0-0 score after the first half, junior Taylor Still took little time in scoring his first of three touchdowns for the night. Still was the leading rusher for the Green and White, collecting 221 yards on 33 carries including TD runs of of 56, three and 24 yards. Geoffrey Bidwell rushed nine times for 24 yards.
Sophomore quarterback, Drew Bidwell, completed three of seven passes on the evening for 26 yards.
Jared Stewart caught two passes for 18 yards and Geoffrey Bidwell caught one pass for eight yards.
Defensively, Jamie Billiter led the team with nine tackles, one fumble cause and one fumble recovery. Taylor Still had seven tackles and one fumble recovery; Geoffrey Bidwell had seven tackles; Kyle McFadden had six tackles; Matt Barker, six tackles; and Jared Stewart was credited with one fumble recovery.
The Wildcats will have an open week this week, and will host Bellaire St. Johns on Oct. 15, senior night.
