With a high wind and cold temperatures forecasted for Saturday evening track officials decided to put a halt to racing action.

The schedule will have the AMRA Late Model Challenge this week for $2,000 to win plus the Makeup up Northeast / Mid Ohio Valley Region FASTRAK feature from May 1.

Expect two time winner Paul Wilmoth Jr., one time victor Butch McGill and other area hotshoes compete on the fast mile known as “The Bullring” for the second leg of the West Virginia State Championship Series. FASTRAK fans are expecting winners so far this season, Shane Hitt, Max Blair, Joe Loudin among many others vying for the top prize.

The remaining makeup features for the Modifeds, Mod Lites, Hot Mods, and Pure stocks along with the Tammy Clegg Memorial powder Puff race will be held May 29.

Other upcoming events include May 22 the AMRA Road Warrior Tour with $1,200 to win for the Modifieds. June 5 has the third leg of the West Virginia State Championship Series with the Eaton / Childers King Of The Ring for $5,000 for the Late Models.
