After a week off, to let race fans, teams, and track staff catch their breath after the Memorial weekend running of the World of Outlaw Jackpot 100, the Tyler County Speedway will roar back into action this Saturday Night, June 8, with a fan-friendly Bullring Birthday Bash. The Tyler County Speedway and Hometown Racing Association invite everyone out to check out the area's premier dirt track as they celebrate the speedway's 39th Anniversary that opened in 1974.
A full card of intense racing action, as only the 'bullring' can provide, will await in honor of 39 years of continuous fast family fun. Featuring a FANtastic Five show that includes the J&R Excavating Late Models presented by Midcap Land and Timber, Peoples Bank FASTRAK Late Models, Two Brothers Motorsports EDGE Modifieds, HotMods, ModLites and MWRA Mini Wedges will all be on tap. It is also FASTRAK drivers appreciation night as all racers in the Peoples Bank FASTRAK late model division will receive a free pit pass courtesy of Hometown Racing Association.
Be sure to bring the kids, as the first Autograph Night of the season will welcome race fans and family down onto the frontstretch at intermission for an up close look at the cars and opportunity to meet and greet all your favorite drivers. Also on tap for the youngsters will be the speedway mascot Dusty's annual Birthday Party for the Kids Club prior to racing along with many other kid games. Be sure to come early and enjoy the new 'Bullring Bistro' concession stand featuring Tyler County Speedway favorites like the Coleman's Fish Sandwich and Hillbilly Hot Dog featuring Wanda's Hotdog Sauce plus several new items including corndogs, chicken tenders, and taco in a bag.
