From Alex King
To the Editor,
Governor Tomblin has declared Sunday, Sept. 13 to be A Day of Hope in West Virginia. The Day of Hope is a faith based celebration of substance abuse prevention and recovery. Westbrook Health Services, Inc. encourage all churches in Tyler County to take this opportunity to discuss substance abuse with their congregations and provide referral and support information as needed. Westbrook has informational handouts about the Day of Hope and local support information for people struggling with behavioral health challenges. For additional information or to receive handouts, please contact me at 304-494-8400 or by emailing email@example.com. I’m happy to meet and deliver the handouts to you.
Taking place two days after the Day of Hope (on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. in the commons area of Tyler Consolidated High School) is a World Cafe-style discussion about substance abuse prevention efforts in our community.
The Tyler County Community Prevention Coalition welcomes members of the public to join our cause as we continue these efforts and many more. Follow our progress on Facebook by searching and liking Tyler County Community Prevention Coalition.
