To The Editor,
It’s a crying shame that the Tyler Co. fair board would require a season pass to be purchased from anyone who wishes to enter an exhibit, regardless of age. There are children that range from the age of 2, and all the way to the high school age. They will not be able to participate because of the financial burden this will place on the parents and families.
How is someone on a fixed income, who has been looking forward to the fair all year be able to participate in any way? The fact that we are in a financially depressed county should have made an impact on the fair board’s decision.
