Dear Editor:

A big “Thank You” to the Sistersville Police Dept. Our community is so fortunate to have these officers caring, serving and protecting the residents of Sistersville.

Over the Easter holiday our family came to visit and we had such a great time. However we had a little problem.

As we were getting ready to enjoy the spring sunshine and visit local shops we were stopped in our tracks by the keys being locked inside the vehicle with only one set, the other set six hours away.

I simply called Chief Ben Placer and within fifteen minutes officer Rob Haught had us back rolling again. “No rain on this parade”! What a blessing it is to have these officers serving our community.
