Dear Editor,

For the past ten and a half years the Adams House Ministries has been blessed to have served our neighbors in Tyler County. These are your neighbors, individuals and families that might live next door to you or be a complete stranger. These people might sit next to you in church or be part of your own family. We serve any in need living in Tyler County. The Adams House Ministries has been blessed to have served as many as 107 families in one month. Life has its ups and downs. Many of us could use a leg up at some point in time in our life. There is a continuous need to serve our neighbors who have fallen on hard times. God calls each of us —- “Since there will never cease to be some in need on the earth, I therefore command you, “open your hand to the poor and needy in your land.”(Deut. 15:11). The awareness of the need to serve God as commanded has been recognized by many individuals, organizations, and churches in our county and outside our county. Many are donating food items at Witschey’s. We have faithful monthly monetary donors and generous one time donors. School clubs, organizations, and churches have donated boxes and boxes of food items. It is a blessing to work in cooperation with our local pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations, and utilities to help meet the neighbor’s needs. Without this awareness and generosity of money, time, services, and prayers the Adams House Ministries would struggle to serve all those in need. As director I have been truly blessed to have served this ministry and these neighbor’s for almost seven years. I have the opportunity to see God in action every day.

Thank you for hearing GODS command, opening your hands and hearts, and blessing this ministry.
