Dear Editor,

I would like to thank everyone that helped to make our benefit for the Don Place family a success. Thanks to all the people that attended the benefit. Thanks to the bands that played; Common Ground, The Nichols Family Band, Jim and John Minger Band, Ben Tharp, Plum Lost. Special thanks goes to Amos Westfall and Leon Hamriek that came from Alyria, Ohio, Larry Santee and Gary Tuttle that helped me put together a band to start the day. Thanks to all the people who donated items that I didn’t thank personally. It was a truly wonderful thing to see all the people that attended and stayed to enjoy the music.
