Dear Editor:

I was reading your most current issue this afternoon and felt I needed to bring something to your attention. The article I am referring to is the one concerning yesterday’s County Commissioner’s meeting.

Each week in your paper, I find typo(s), misnomer(s), or incomplete information on your pages.

I am the coordinator of the Tyler County Literacy Council, not the Tyler Council Literary Council. We are located in the Family Resource Network offices in Middlebourne on Main Street. The students we deal with are assured complete confidentiality in a one-on-one learning environment. These are those adults who may have little reading ability or need higher level help such as brushing up to take the GED or CDL exams. We also provide ESL (learning to speak English as a second language) and other services related to reading and writing.

These folks are generally not “Literary”. So, please, correct your error by printing this letter so that the residents of our county will know that we are not a “Book Club” but a community service organization.

Thank you very much,

Ardie Post
