Dear Editor,

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 67 would like to thank the following people and businesses for supporting our “Coats for Kids” program.

Without their help we would not have been able to purchase the much needed coats for our elementary and middle school children. A total of 132 coats have been purchased so far.

Our gratitude goes out to Hope Fellowship Church, First Presbyterian Church, First Federal, Long Reach Federal Credit Union, Union Bank of Tyler County, WesBanco, Phillips Pharmacy, Kelvin Feather DDS, State Farm Insurance, Tyler Insurance, Wtichey’s, Reliable Supply, Action Gaming, Wable Ford-Mercury, Shriners, VFW Auxiliary 6327, VFW Post 6327, Ladies Auxiliary FOE 2881, Nemesis-Legion of Honor, Legionnnaires Post 67, Sons of the American Legion Post 67, Legion Riders Post 67, Ladies Auxiliary Unit 67, John Albright, Eric and Sandy Brown, Alice Dalrymple, Larry Dearth, Rick Doty, Thomas and Donna Gilligan, Joseph and Valerie Jones, Pete Light, Mary Locke, Roger and Cathy Post, Ruth Quiniff, Frederick Dean Rohrig, Jeannie Thompson, Dee Underwood, Gordon and Marilee Weimer, conley and Patsy Wyatt.

A canister for donations was placed in our Post and we would like to thank the many members who gave to our cause. We would also like to acknowledge the donors who wish to remain anonymous. Their names are not here, but their caring was deeply felt.

The support we received insurance that all our area children are safe from the cold this winter.

Thank you again.
