Dear Editor,

I wonder why we even have laws such as speed limits or laws against littering if they are not followed and/or enforced???

There is a short distance of highway near the intersection of Rt 180 and 18 where the speed limit is 40 mph BUT very few people see or feel the need to slow down. As to the litter problem it is rampant all over our countybut on Elk Fork Road it is horrendous and very sickening.

The laws exist for everyone of us and we all need to be responsible for our own actions. What kind of influence am I leaving to those following me on the highway??????

Let’s clean up our act citizens of Tyler County!
