TCHS Boosters say ‘Thank You’
Dear Editor,
The 2009 Tyler County Fair is now history. This exciting and fun filled week is also the single largest fundraising project for the Tyler Consolidated Athletic Boosters. While the week is long and tiring for the participants, it is a true testimony to the success of the teamwork of numerous individuals.
The Tyler Consolidated Athletic Boosters would like to thank those individuals who gave their time and talents to support our efforts. We owe a debt of gratitude to the parents, many who worked multiple shifts spread over several days to provide countless hours of cooking, cleaning and serving, to the coaches who organized the work crews and worked along side their athletes, to the TCHS cooks for seeing a need and taking the steps to fill it, to the TCHS administrative team for their guidance and their support, and to the athletes who volunteered to give back to their sports.
We would like to especially recognize Pat and Lori Knowlton, owners of Knowlton’s Chill and Grill and New Martinsville Long John Silver’s for their very generous donations of much needed supplies.
The Tyler Consolidated Athletic Boosters welcome and encourage anyone who is interested in joining with us to support our student athletes to please contact any booster officer or Tyler Consolidated High School. We work hard, have fun and the rewards are priceless. When good people work together GREAT things happen.
Many thanks,
April Northcraft
