Dear Editor:

The Tyler Alive bake sale last week was a success. Thank you to all the bakers who made the breads, cookies, soup, and such and thanks to all the customers who bought all those breads, cookies, soup and such. It was a community effort by the people and for the people.

The money will help our efforts to improve the economic quality of life here in Tyler County.

And a very special thank you to Marie Nash, a petite woman with a big, generous heart.
