Dear Editor,

I moved to this area from Florida in 2003, knew very few people except family. For the past two years I have been receiving the “TYLER STAR NEWS.” the one column that has caught my attention weekly is “Friendly Ways & Byways.” by Susan Stoneking-Webb. Susan writes a very informative column, it has familiarized me with the area and various events that either have or are coming up.

Also lets you know who is having birthdays, as well as those who need our prayers. Today, May 8, I had the pleasure of meeting her in person, as my church, Community Lighthouse Church, had a table at the yard sale in the Friendly Community Hall.

She is as gracious in person as her column reflects.

Keep up the good work Susan, looking forward to next weeks paper.
