Romine remembers Wilson

By Staff | Feb 25, 2009

Dear Editor,

My son recently relayed to me the passing of Aleta Wilson. I was unable to visit but I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the “passing” of Lete.

When I began my principalship at Sistersville Middle/Junior High School, Lete was my secretary. She proceeded to teach me more about parent, teacher and community relations than any professor I ever had.

As the years pass, I find myself reminiscing about special life experiences and individuals involved in those times. I could write pages about memories of Lete, but I will simply state that the Tyler County School system, the City of Sistersville and I lost a special friend.

Lete Wilson left the world a better place than she found it.

Sincerely,

Delegate Roger Romine
