“Here Comes The Sun, and I say It’s alright”

By Ed Parsons - Editor | Mar 4, 2026

Enough is enough! We’re ready to trade in our winter coats for sundresses, snow boots for sandals, and chilly mornings for warm sunshine. As the days get longer and the temperatures rise, it’s hard not to feel a sense of renewal and excitement.

Warmer weather means more than just a change in temperature, it means more outdoor time, more adventures, and more opportunities to connect with nature and each other. It’s a chance to shake off the winter blues and embrace the vibrant energy of spring.

Let’s bid farewell to the cold and welcome the warmth with open arms. Let’s plan picnics, hikes, and backyard barbecues. Let’s soak up the sun and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. It’s time to get on with some warmer weather and make the most of this beautiful season!

So, “Hold On to Your Hat, Spring is Coming” and it’s more than just a catchy phrase, it’s a message of hope and renewal. As we trudge through the last days of winter, it’s easy to feel stuck, but spring is just around the corner, bringing new life and possibilities.

When I think of spring I also think of a 1969 Beatles song, “Here comes the sun”. Music alone sometimes has a way of chasing away those winter blues.

Spring is a symbol of transformation. The cold, dark days of winter are replaced by warmth and light, and the world awakens from its slumber. It’s a time for new beginnings, fresh starts, and chasing dreams. As Debra McNinch puts it, “If you are in a season of war, peace will follow. If you are in a season of loss, joy is still ahead”.

Spring is a great time to refresh your wardrobe and try new styles. Hats are making a comeback, and they’re not just for protection from the sun, they’re a fashion statement. From bucket hats to fedoras, there are plenty of styles to choose from, and they can add a playful touch to any outfit, while providing a fresh new look as the seasons change.

Meanwhile as you wait for spring to arrive in just a couple weeks, find inspiration in the promise of new life and possibilities. Hold on to hope, and remember that every season has its own beauty. Whether you’re looking forward to warmer weather, blooming flowers, or simply a fresh start, spring forward and don’t look back!
