A Great Legacy

By Staff | Nov 14, 2018

We were deeply saddened to hear of the Nov. 3 passing of James Ash, of Alma.

The way Mr. Ash lived his life is the definition of serving others.

Mr. Ash was a veteran, serving for two years in the United States Army.

He was also an educator, and besides teaching in the classroom, he served his community in that he worked fervently to spread knowledge of agriculture. The fact that FFA is so healthy in our local communities can be attributed to folks such as Jim Ash, who dedicated their lives to constantly spreading knowledge of agriculture, and the importance of it.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Ash’s family. May they find comfort in his enduring legacy.
