Kudos to Future Farmers of America Members
We are so proud of Tyler County FFA members for yet another successful Ham, Bacon, and Egg show. Approximately $50,000 was raised and poured into the future of the county’s youth, toward these students’ future agricultural endeavors.
We believe perhaps many do not realize the hard work and dedication that goes into being a member of the FFA organization. An FFA member’s work continues long past an 8-hour school day and cannot be adequately described in a short editorial. With that being said, we hope you took some time during the past two weeks to read some of the essays we featured in the Tyler Star News. These were written by students of the Tyler County FFA organization and are surely eye-opening.
There is no doubt that these young folks know their craft. Whether you read the essays, or attend an FFA event, you will certainly realize that, and come away from the experience with a new appreciation for what these students are so very passionate about.
