Residents Urged to Test Broadband
The Tyler County Development Authority is urging residents to go online to test their broadband connectivity. This simple test will provide data that can serve as an early and honest measure of the quality of internet service being provided within Tyler County, and will aid in their attempts to receive funding for improvements. We are living in a time where computers rule all, and it is nearly impossible to have a thriving business without quality internet service.
A Federal Communications Commission report ranked West Virginia 48th in broadband availability, so it is great to see that West Virginia is finally addressing this problem. This is the first step, but an important one, so we urge everyone to take a few minutes and go to broadband.wv.gov and help get the ball rolling.
