Wishing Students a Great New Year
It’s that time of year again when children are heading back to school. Being the first week, there will likely be some hiccups along the way. Make sure that your children are properly dressed and waiting for the bus in plenty of time. It may take the bus drivers a little while to adjust to their routes and stops. The first week is generally a chaotic one for the kids, finding the correct classes, learning bus schedules and feeling accepted by their peers. Therefore, it is important to remain patient and understanding until the daily routines have been established. Be persistent with your child’s homework. When kids get home from a long day of school, the last thing on their minds is usually homework. As parents, we must keep on them, even if it annoys them. It is also important to work well with teachers and other school officials that are working hard to help educate our children. We must show respect to receive respect. Here’s wishing everyone a safe and successful school year!
