Welcome Sistersville High School Alumni
SHS graduates will descend on the city for their annual reunion this weekend that not only celebrates their school spirit, but the essence of Tyler County. This was and is a close-knit group, which formed bonds that transcend time. Though many graduates live in places near and far across the globe, their time at SHS remains special.
Graduates hailing from classes long ago – perhaps as far back as the 20s and 30s – will join more recent classes.
The group includes attorneys, bankers, teachers, and many other noble professions. Stories will be told, and classmates will ask questions about the past, present and future. This is all part of the reunion experience.
“I think everyone will have a good time. Alumni have put in a lot of work over the years, so that’s why this weekend keeps growing and growing. The school was a special place for a lot of us,” said Randy Kehrer, president of the SHS Alumni Association. SHS may be gone, but it’s spirit endures.
