See You There
In case you haven’t noticed, this week’s issue of the Tyler Star News is full of stories, columns and photographs worthy of your attention. For a small county, we certainly have a lot going on.
Which is why it’s strange that so many people in this community preach the opposite.
We ran ourselves ragged this past week to cover games, events, dinners, sales – you name it – and every where we were, you could’ve been, as well.
It’s time for a reality check. It’s not that there is a shortage of things to do in Tyler County, there’s just a shortage of interested parties. This time of year municipalities are appointing committee members to help make decisions and carry out the plans set forth by the council. Instead of expelling so much energy complaining, why not use it to make a difference – or to create something for people to do they might find interesting.
The weather is changing. The days are getting longer. We hope this means we will see you while we’re out and about.
Sisters Fest, Alumni Weekend, graduation and more are just around the corner. Shake off those winter blues and join the fun!
