Sisterville residents have an opporutnity to change their political landscape in the near future, by going to the polls and casting votes for mayor and city council representatives March 22.

This past week, citizens had the opportunity to hear the mayoral candidates speak on topics concerning the city and its future. A forum held at the Wells Inn gave each candidate the chance to indicate his vision for Sistersville and answer questions posed by interested citizens. The questions, and their answers, appear in part in today’s issue of TSN on page 14, and will be continued in next week’s edition.

Whatever your opinion, whoever your choices may be, make sure to get to the voting booth on March 22, and stand up and be counted. Take part in your government and participate in the grand experiment we call democracy. Exercise your right to vote!
