Last Friday was a scary day for a group of TCMS students traveling home from a their end-of-the-year field trip to Kennywood Park.

In the blink of an eye, what was meant to be the fun and exciting culmination to hours of study, turned into a nightmare as a Tyler County School bus collided with a van in Pennsylvania.

We are so lucky to have within our ranks seasoned bus drivers, concerned chaperones and courageous teenagers, who in the face of adversity come together for the common good.

In times such as this, we show the world what we have known for years: That people from West Virginia (and especially Tyler County) are a cut above the rest!
