STEVEN ROBERTS

Steven Ray Roberts, 75, of Middlebourne WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday August 2, 2026 while surrounded by his loving family.

Steve was born October 9, 1950, in Sistersville, WV son of the late Cecil and Betty L. (Mikes) Roberts.

He was an avid fisherman, mechanic, and absolutely loved the beach. Traveling to the Keys with his wife, often taking months at a time down there. He loved spending time with his wife and family and restoring Corvettes. Steve retired from PPG Industries after 35 plus years of service. Steve was also a devoted member of The Middlebourne Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Melvia Fox.

Surviving is his loving wife of 56 years, Judy (Williamson) Roberts; children, Shelly Roberts Osborne and Kevin (Laura) Roberts; grandchildren, Madison (Billy) Osborne, MacKenzie (Harrison) Leech, Raylynn (Clayton) Roberts, and Bryson Roberts; great grandchildren, Rylan and Sutton, with baby girl Lena on the way; and siblings, Larry (Barbara) Roberts, Dave (Cookie) Roberts, Darlene (Mark) Goddard, Rodney (Tanya) Roberts, and Sharon (Scott) Smith; sister-in-law, Cathy Eddy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends received 11 a.m. till time of services, 2 p.m. Thursday August, 6 2026 at the Furbee Funeral Home 217 Main St., Middlebourne, WV with burial to follow at the Middlebourne Cemetery, Middlebourne, WV.
