Johnson Hizer, 71, of

Sistersville, West Virginia, entered into the

presence of her Lord

and Savior, Jesus

Christ, on July 16,

2026.

Born on August 30,

1954, in New Brighton, Pennsylvania,

Reenie was the

daughter of the late

Harry Henry Hubbard

and Anna Jean Lantz

Hubbard.

Reenie is survived

by her husband, Jeffrey Hizer of Sistersville, WV; her

daughter, Nicole Phillips (Tommy) of Lakeland, FL; her step

daughters, Melissa

Hizer of Asheville,

NC; Jill Hizer (Josh

Campbell) of Sistersville, WV; and Erica

Lynch (Chad) of New

Martinsville, WV. She

was the proud and loving best Nana ever to

Griffin Phillips (Sloan)

of Washington, PA

and Caleigh Phillips

(Logan) of New Martinsville, WV, as well

as 7 step grandchildren.

Reenie are her sisters,

Colleen Hubbard

O’Hickey (Diether

Roth) of Pacific

Grove, CA and Dr.

Carla Hubbard Flynn

(Jamie) of Panama

City, FL.

Family was Reenie’s

greatest earthly blessing. She treasured

every conversation,

every visit, and every

milestone shared with

those she loved. She

was endlessly proud of

her daughter, Nicole,

and found immeasurable joy in her

grandchildren, Griffin

and Caleigh. She

delighted in talking

about them and celebrating the people they

had become.

Reenie’s love

reached far beyond her

own family. If you

knew her, chances are

you experienced her

kindness, encouragement, and friendship.

She earned the loving

title and was affectionately known as

Nana to many. Her

lifelong friendships

she built, many formed

during her years at

Bayer, were precious

to her. She especially

cherished the bond she

shared with her dearest

friend, Kathi, who

remained faithfully by

her side through life’s

recent joys and challenges.

Above all else,

Reenie loved Jesus.

Her faith was not simply something she believed, it was the foundation she built her life

upon. She cherished

her Valley Church

family, where she

worshipped, served,

laughed, and grew in

her walk with Christ.

Her confidence in

God’s promises gave

her peace and hope,

and her family finds

comfort knowing that

she has now heard the

words, Well done,

good and faithful servant.

Family and friends

will be received at

Valley Church, 600

South Fourth Avenue,

Paden City, West Virginia, on July 29,

2026, from 10 a.m. to

1 p.m. at the time of

service, with Pastor

Jonathan Mast officiating.

In lieu of flowers,

memorial contributions may be made to
